Our History

Our story begins with Ramón, who from a very young age, in Mexico, showed a great passion for music. In the 1980s, he emigrated to California with the dream of dedicating himself to music. He formed a band in Southern California, where he was a member, performing and recording for over 10 years. He left the band to focus on teaching music, where he met his current wife, Rosie. Together they founded R&R Music in 1999, and in the early 2000s, they ran a recording studio. In 2016, Ramón redirected his business towards selling musical instruments and creating content for YouTube, where, with the help of his two children, he has accumulated over two million views. Currently, R&R Music remains a family music store located on the central and southern coast of California.

Nipomo Swap Meet

You can find R&R Music at the Nipomo flea market, where they set up their booth every Sunday since 2016. Ramon takes pride in serving the Hispanic, Latin, and Indigenous community of the Nipomo and Santa Maria area, which has supported R&R Music since its beginnings.
