Nuestra Historia
Our story starts with Ramon, who showed a passion for music from a very young age, growing up in Mexico. In the 80s, he immigrated to California with a dream to pursue music. He started a band in Southern California, where he was a member, performing and recording, for over 10 years. He left the band to focus on giving lessons, where he met his now-wife, Rosie. The two created R&R Music in 1999, where they owned and operated a recording studio in the early 2000s. In 2016, Ramon shifted his business to selling instruments and posting on YouTube, where he has amassed over 1 million views, with the help of his two children. Now, R&R Music continues to be a family-owned and operated music store based in the Central and Southern Coast of California.
You can find R&R Music at the Nipomo Swapmeet & Fleamarket, where they have been setting up shop every Sunday since 2016. Ramon is proud to serve the Hispanic, Latino, and Indigenous community in the Nipomo and Santa Maria area, who have supported R&R Music since the start.
